You can help when help is most needed. Donate to the Canadian Red Cross today.
In partnership with Indigenous peoples across Canada, the Red Cross supports culturally appropriate programming in disaster prevention, response and recovery, as well as education and training to promote safety, health and well-being. By invitation from communities, we support local programs to help create stronger, safer, empowered communities. Through initiatives like swimming and water safety training and respectful relationship courses, we help communities build capacity and resiliency. The Red Cross is also here to provide assistance to families and communities before, during, and after a disaster. The key to staying safe is to prepare and to have an emergency plan in place. The Red Cross is honoured to work with Indigenous people, co-creating opportunities to address priorities, and building a strong relationship of community collaboration.
